about thimkagain!
Milton Keynes Local Strategic Partnership has agreed an ambitious goal to promote local action to help tackle climate change and set up the Climate Change Liaison Group (CCLG) to do this. Following Milton Keynes Council's decision to provide start-up funding, an initial programme of action has been developed by the National Energy Foundation in consultation with the main strategic partners.
About the project
There are already many innovative initiatives already taking place across the city. New and existing project activities will be set out in a detailed route map showing what is proposed for Milton Keynes in the different sectors. ThimkAgain! is a first step on this routemap to carbon reduction, and is designed to help engage you in the process. The success of this project will be through the realisation of real carbon savings through implementation of different projects and services that all work together. Our project partners are also key to the success of this initiative.
The ThimkAgain! website is intended to become a virtual meeting place where you can find out about all local initiatives that could help you reduce your emissions, combat climate change, and save money as well. So that's why it focuses on what's happening in Milton Keynes - both in past, the present and what might happen in the future. But that means the website doesn't say all that much about the global effects of Climate Change, or what you can do yourself at home, while travelling or at work to reduce your own carbon emissions. So if you'd like to help the ThimkAgain! campaign by writing some more web content, or publicising a climate change project that you have been doing in the city, then we'd love to hear from you. Just send an e-mail to our webmaster.
We will value your feedback on your thoughts about this project and any ideas that you may have to make it easier for Milton Keynes' citizens to take action against climate change.

- Working in Education, including its Green Energy Machine shown here;
- Undertaking Projects in collaboration with other organisations at a local, regional and European level.
